Last night, So You Think You Can Dance 2013 was revved up and ready to rumba with some stiff competition coming from the top 16 left dancing on this hit Fox reality show.
In fact, the level of ability and the artistry on stage in Hollywood was so above and beyond that it was tough to see anyone go because everyone definitely pulled off some amazing moves and some complex choreography.
Still, some dancers were better than others, at least as far as the judges (including Nigel Lithgoe, Mary Murphy and guest Carly Rae Jepsen) and the viewing public were concerned.
So who were the show-stoppers and who were not? Who was asked to leave the show on July 23?
Well, at the top of the show on Tuesday and based on America's vote that came after the SYTYCD performance show from two weeks ago. the following six contestants representing all manner of dance were left to wonder whether he or she would be allowed to go on: Jenna, Mariah, Makenzie, BluPrint, Curtis and Alan.
All but the effervescent Jenna were asked to dance a solo (she's that good) to see if he or she is worthy of staying on the show. Curtis got a knocking and a stern warning for his perpetually misplaced shoulders and Alan was called out because he wasn't properly connecting with his reassigned partner, Malece.
But, at the very end it was BluPrint and Mariah Spears who were asked to leave So You Think You Can Dance 2013 during the results show on July 23. Did you see that coming? Are you surprised? Do you think these two should have stayed and other dancers should have been sent home from SYTYCD? Please weigh in.
